Orchard Clinic is a Physiotherapy Service in St Albans. They offer expert “HANDS ON THERAPY” such as Manual Therapy, coupled with therapeutic Exercise Prescription.

Paul Carnell asked me to review some issues they were experiencing with their WordPress website’s poor performance and difficulties with Google Ads. The original website had little allowance for SEO and used a page builder plugin for page layout, resulting in sluggish performance and unnecessary complexity. The content was based on a physiotherapist’s point of view rather than from the patient’s perspective.

I rebuilt the entire site from the ground up with SEO in mind, using standard WordPress functionality for better speed and usability. This included a visual refresh, reworking of all images, extensive content rewriting (with the help of Paul and his team) and a structural reorganisation with lots of internal linking. The blog articles have been properly integrated into the site rather than just an afterthought. Here it is:
