Harquebus intelligence and security

Harquebus is an intelligence and security consultancy serving multi-national corporations and the governments of UK’s partners. Harquebus staff are former military, police and civilian intelligence officers with backgrounds in intelligence and security operations, counter-terrorism and counterinsurgency up to government level. They employ current UK and US intelligence and security practices to improve their clients’ operating environments.

Having worked with me in her previous role, Harquebus’s Chief Business Officer (CBO) approached me to overhaul the Harquebus website, which had initially been created with WordPress.

With its reach becoming increasingly global, Harquebus needed a “more modern” and “crisper” responsive website with large illustrative images as well as an Arabic version of the site.

Attempting to stick with WordPress, Harquebus’s previous web designers had failed to meet the CBO’s vision for the site, and – with an important deadline approaching – I was contracted to create a multi-language site in two weeks.

I accepted the challenge and rebuilt the website from scratch (including an Arabic subdomain that is orientated right to left). Harquebus’s deadline was met.
